2 Shows Down! 3 More To Go!
Unfortunatekly myself and the other members of Wanton Displays of Affection have been swept up in the hub in the hubbub that is the NY International Fringe Ferstival and forgot to post about our first 2 performances! They went well and we had decent houses for both. Hopefully we'll sell out these last 3 performances so buy your tickets now on our website (wantondisplays.com)!

Thanks to Charlene for her music, Taylor Stanton for helping camera op and to the cast for not forgetting a single line!
Less than one month until the NYC premiere. GET EXCITED!!!

Spread the Word!
Hello hello! How excited are you for this show?????? It's my first time working on a show outside of my hometown(s), and I'm so looking forward to bringing this to a new audience! Zach is a rockstar. So are you, for reading this.
I'm Yael, and I'm directing Default Swap, one of the short plays in the collection that makes up Wanton Displays... The group of artists working on the show is pretty spectacular, and I can't wait to spend 14 hours in a car roadtrippin' out east with 'em.
Though the show itself starts Aug. 13, it's never too early to start ADVERTISING. So send out reminders to your friends, teachers acquaintances, crushes, Brooklyn grannies...anyone you know who would be into seeing quality theatre (+could make it to New York this summer).
MUCH LOVE
y

Welcome to Our Blog!
This is the first official post on the official blog for Wanton Displays of Affection (the plays formerly known as The Two Couple Play & Other Short Works) by Zach Smilovitz.
First, to introduce myself, my name is Liam White and I am a longtime friend and collaborator of Zach's. I was the producer for the original production and directed one of the three plays. While I'll be sure to post updates as they come, I hope that this blog will consist of entries from everyone involved with the production (writer, directors, actors, designers, etc.).
The plays were first produced by the wonderful University of Michigan student group, Basement Arts, which puts on a different show every weekend. Now this fantastic new work is bound for the Big Apple and will have it's NYC debut at the International Fringe Festival. We don't yet know what theater we will be in or on what dates we'll perform, but the festival is August 13-29 and our performance will be spread throughout.
Thanks for reading and I'll be sure to let you know more info as it comes.
-Liam
